Fire At Recycling Yard In South LA

No one was injured in the blaze on Slausen Ave.

No one was injured in a fire at a recycling plant in South LA Thursday night, according to an LA Fire Department spokesperson Erik Scott.  ATVN's cameras caught the view of the smoke from the roof of Wallis Annenberg Hall.

The spokesperson said that the fire didn't damage any other structures.

Firefighters put the blaze out in a little more than an hour.  The Department of Water and Power was on the scene to repair down power lines.

LAFD officials don't yet know the cause of the fire.
