USC Student's Company Makes Vintage Shopping Easier

Prefound Vintage sells cool clothes online.

Inspired by a love of thrift shopping and vintage clothing, USC student Alex Zhang created Prefound, an online platform for people to sell and buy thrifted and vintage clothing. Initially a fun dorm room business, Alex and his co-founder James Lynch transformed their idea into a full-scale company. Not only does this company sell cool clothes, but it sells cool clothes from all over the world.

Aside from his entrepreneurial ventures, Zhang works at KUSC Radio as a DJ and manages development at the station. He also runs special projects for the USC Concerts Committee and ran LavaLab for a year and a half.

Although going through a transition phase to improve sales and productivity, which requires the temporary shutdown of their website, Prefound plans to join forces with Etsy and Ebay to bring a wider variety of vintage clothing to customers world wide. You can follow them on Instagram at prefoundvintage and on Twitter @prefoundthrift
