Nico Falah: "It's Been A Long Time Coming"
The USC Football team closed out rivalry week in style with a 40-21 takedown of the UCLA Bruins at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday. The Trojans defeated their cross-town rival, UCLA, for the first time in four seasons. With the win, USC improves to 8-3 overall and 6-3 in the Pac-12, securing the Pac-12 South Division.
After redshirt sophomore center Khaliel Rodgers was sidelined in the first half, it was fourth string center, Nico Falah's time to shine. The redshirt sophomore talked after the game about stepping up the plate and filling in for Rodgers. This was Falah's first time at center, but he was able to hold his own on the line, receiving major praise from Helton in the post-game press conference.
