Ronald Jones II: "I Still Have a Lot to Work On"
USC football freshman running back Ronald Jones II set a new school record for most rushing yards in a game by a freshman with 177 in the Trojans 38-30 win over the Arizona Wildcats at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Saturday. Jones, the team's leading rusher, netted the record-breaking yardage on 19 carries, including a 75-yd touchdown, as well as picking up a receiving touchdown.
After the game, Jones discussed what it meant to be mentioned in the list of USC's all-time great tailbacks like O.J. Simpson and Marcus Allen, as well as what he has been working on to improve his game. He also managed to describe his play like a barn house animal, giving his best impersonation of a horse.
USC will look to keep its PAC-12 Championship hopes alive as it travels to Boulder to take on Colorado in a Friday night showdown beginning at 6:00 p.m.
