Su'a Cravens: " We're Growing Up And Tuning In."
The USC Football team knocked off the University of Arizona for a "Homecoming" victory on Saturday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. After a slow start, the Trojans came from behind to defeat the Wildcats 38-30. In the win, junior linebacker Su'a Cravens totaled a team high, 8 tackles and 1.5 sacks.
Cravens, a team captain, discussed the Trojans performance after the game. In talking about the team's slow start, he said that they looked past the Wildcats in the first half, but were jump started by John Plattenburg's interception in the second quarter. "We are definitely growing up," he said in addressing the team's second-half play, "and you can see those results in the last couple of weeks." As to his own game-time performance, Cravens said he was just playing his game and that the Arizona style of play, allowed him to "be an athlete in the open field."
