Stacy Scholder

Stacy Scholder, an Emmy award-winning television news producer, is one of the faculty advisors overseeing Annenberg TV News. Scholder took over the directorship of ATVN in March 2014 after serving as associate director.

Before joining USC in January 2007, Scholder worked as a broadcast journalist for more than 20 years in Los Angeles and New England.  Most recently she was a producer at KABC-TV in Los Angeles.  She also worked as an executive producer at KNBC-TV in Los Angeles where she launched a special projects unit and managed the station’s top-rated 11pm newscast.  Scholder began her television news career at WLNE-TV in Providence, Rhode Island and then went on to work as a news producer in Boston at WCVB-TV.

As a producer, Scholder has won two Emmys, two Golden Mikes, and the Associated Press Award for best newscast.
