Home Depot Center to Be Renamed
The Home Depot Center is taking on a new identity.
After a new contract agreement between the sports entertainment superpower AEG and the online ticket company Stubhub, the Los Angeles sports arena will be renamed the "Stubhub Center."
Stubhub is the largest ticket marketplace in the world.
The company began in 2000, and has launched several partnerships across the globe since it's inception with brands like AEG and ESPN. In addition to it's work with big name brands, Stubhub has also established partnerships with teams across a variety of sports.
The sports stadium is a 125-acre complex that sits on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills. The agreement comes with several amenities for the Stubhub company.
In addition to the renaming of the facility, Stubhub will also get two freeway digital marquee signs, LA Galaxy team marketing assets, space on the website, and marketing throughout the entire facility.
Stubhub plans to use this opportunity to make the center more of a fan-friendly experience for event attendees.
This agreement marks the first of it's kind where a ticketing company has added it's name to a sports center.
The name change will take effect June 1.
Hello, Princeton. I believe this sports stadium sits on the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills, not Cal State L.A. Thanks.
