USC Swimming Wins First PAC-12 Championship
The USC men's swimming team captured its first PAC-12 Championship title Saturday, edging out Stanford in the final event of the meet to capture the win. Head coach Dave Solo welcomes the Trojans first title since the 1979, but realizes that this is just a starting point for his team and is looking forward to more championships.
At the Championships, senior Christian Quintero made history for the Trojans, becoming the first PAC-12 swimmer to win the 100yd, 200yd and 500yd events in the same meet. USC will be back in action as the team heads to Iowa City, Iowa for the NCAA Championships in late March.
