Dodgers to Sue Alleged Bryan Stow Attackers

Attorneys for Frank McCourt and the Los Angeles Dodgers said Thursday they will file a civil action suit against the two men who allegedly attacked Bryan Stow upon leaving Dodger Stadium after the opening day victory in retaliation of the Giants fan's lawsuit.
Los Angeles Superior Court received paperwork Wednesday from the MLB team's attorneys stating that a cross-complaint will be filed against Louie Sanchez, 29, and Marvin Norwood, 30, who are accused of beating Stow and almost killing him.
According to the files, attorneys do not expect Sanchez and Norwood to testify in depositions in order to avoid incriminating themselves in the criminal case.
In May, Stow and his children, Tyler and Tabitha Stow, filed the suit against McCourt and 13 team entities, including assault, battery, negligence, premises liability and both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress. However, the family chose not to name Sanchez and Norwood as defendants.
On March 31, Stow was viciously beaten in the Dodger Stadium parking lot shortly after the game ended. Police said he was targetted because he was wearing San Francisco Giants gear.
