Sheriff: Michaele Salahi Okay, "Right Where She Wants to Be" [Updated]
"Real Housewives of D.C." star Michaele Salahi told police Wednesday afternoon that she is safe after her husband reported her missing.

[Updated | 2:35 p.m. PDT : According to the Warren County Sheriff's Department, Deputy Mike Glavis was able to contact Mrs. Salahi via telephone after her husband, Tareq Salahi, reported her missing on Tuesday evening shortly before midnight. Mrs. Salahi assured the police that she had left the Salahi residence for a friend's home and was where she wanted to be. Mrs. Salahi was described by the deputy as "calm" and "engaged in conversation". Mr. Salahi was notified of the contact between the police and his wife.]

Her husband's manager, Gina Rodriguez, told CNN that she had been missing since early Tuesday.
Rodriquez said Mr. Salahi last saw Michaele as she was leaving for a hair appointment and dance class. According to Rodriguez, she did not keep either appointment.
Rodriguez said that her husband believes that his wife was forced by a kidnapper to make calls to him and the sheriff's department to reassure them she was not abucted.
CNN reported that the last time the husband and wife talked was at 7 p.m. Tuesday. According to Rodriguez, Mrs. Salahi used a cell phone with an unknown Oregon number and said that she was going to visit her mother's home. Her mother said that she never arrived.
The FBI and sheriff's office are still trying to make additional contact with Mrs. Salahi to ensure her well-being.
The Salahis are known for crashing President Obama's first state dinner in November 2009. They then starred on the shortlived show "Real Housewives: DC."
