Armed Robbery Suspect Shot and Apprehended by Police

The suspect came out of the building to receive something he had demanded at about 3 p.m. holding a gun to the hostage . SWAT officers opened fire shortly after in what Buena Park Police Chief Corey S. Sianez called a "tense moment."
The extent of the suspect's injuries has not been disclosed by police, and a SWAT team conducted a search of the entire building. The suspect was taken to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, said Sianez.
The female hostage was released shortly after being rescued. Three officers sustained minor wounds during the shooting, Sianez said.
Police first entered into a standoff with the suspect when he holed up inside the Saehan Bank, which is located on the 4500 block of Beach Boulevard in Buena Park, according to Cpl. Andy Luong.
The event began at 11:06 a.m. when police received a call about a possible robbery at the local bank. Police said that while they were en route to the scene, there was some type of disturbance in the building and when officers arrived at the scene to evacuate nearby buildings and business, the suspect ordered everyone outside except for the female manager.
Police said that when the suspect first entered the bank, he was described by witnesses as being quite and did not state any demands upon entering.
Investigators were unable to contact the suspect as of 2:30 p.m. so a robot was sent in to deliver a phone for negotiations.
In a televised news conference, Sianez called the incident a "bank robbery gone bad."
Beach Boulevard was closed in both directions and a nearby school was placed on lockdown due to the unknown nature of the suspect's weapon.
The Orange County D.A. has launched an investigation of the event.

The last comment I wrote came from bank tellers from Hanmi Bank who knew the suspect. I smell conspiracy when 200k disappears from a safe deposit box from a bank...
