The Greek Row On Probation After Eight Students Hospitalized
The University of Southern California closed the Greek Row indefinitely on Monday after eight students were hospitalized over the weekend from party-related incidents.
A student from Loyola Marymount University was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries on Thursday night. The USC Interfraternity Council told ATVN she fell off a table. She is reported to be in stable condition.
The other seven students were hospitalized with symptoms of alcohol poisoning. Three of the incidents occurred during registered events.

The Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and the Associate Director for Fraternity and Sorority Leadership Development sent a memo to all chapter presidents and advisors on Monday outlining the new restrictions.
All events must be registered and preapproved. Social events will only be allowed between Friday after 3 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. Alcohol is prohibited at philanthropy events.
The University now requires fire inspections for all events.
Chapters must require a USC ID for entrance and adhere to a strict guest list.
As of Monday, no Halloween parties will be allowed on Thursday, October 31.
The University refused to comment.
Ha ha ha. This is why alcohol is bad, kids.
