Nobel Peace Nominee Spoke at USC About Violence in Congo
Nobel Peace Prize nominee Dr. Denis Mukwege spoke at the Caruso Catholic Center on Monday.
The event at the center focused on stories of Congolese survivors who are still threatened by the mass atrocities and violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Dr. Mukwege is the founder and director of the Panzi Hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is famous for its treatment for victims of sexual violence and for women who have been battered during brutal rapes.
He explained in an interview with ATVN how his minister father influenced his work.
