Free Denny's Breakfast For Veterans

In honor of Veteran's Day, Denny's gave away free stacks of its famous buttermilk pancakes on Monday to military personnel.

From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., diners with valid military ID could eat unlimited stacks of pancakes topped with maple syrup and whipped butter.

Select Denny's locations across the country also offer a year-round 10% discount to diners with proof of military service.

Frank Arias, the general manager of a Denny's located in Exposition Park, and Richard Goldlander, a USC student with cousins in the military both felt that military veterans deserved this perk.
