Nearly 1,500 Calabasas High School students walked out of class Tuesday to rally against gun violence.

The school-planned walkout was staged in honor of teacher Brian Ludmer, who was wounded during the shooting at LAX.

Ludmer, has been recovering at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center since Friday's shooting.
