Bus Tour for Immigration Reform Kicks Off

More than 300 supporters gathered to send off the families, faith leaders and bus tour participants who are fasting to bring awareness to immigrant rights.

The Fast for Families bus tour will travel across the United States for the next six weeks in pursuit of comprehensive immigration reform and a pathway to citizenship for immigrants.

More than 300 supporters gathered to send off the families, faith leaders and bus tour participants who are fasting to bring awareness to immigrant rights.

Fast for Families says it is organization that is centered on faith, love and sacrifice. They pray and fast as part of their advocacy efforts.

However, Fremont Tea Party member John Guerrero says that we need to focus on enforcing our current laws surrounding border control before we start making new ones.

Fast for Families is asking people to fast with them every Wednesday starting March 5. The tour will makes its last stop in Washington D.C. on April 9.
