Annenberg Hosts Evening of Innovation

The event is part of USC's Annenberg Innovation Lab.

USC's Annenberg Innovation Lab held its annual Evening of Innovation Tuesday night where students and researchers presented prototypes of their projects.

Research Assistant Andrew Schrock worked with students in the CRUNCH course to present their projects. The 12 week class aims to turn students' entrepreneurial ideas into startups. People attending Tuesday's event voted on the best project. The winner will win 10,000 dollars to launch their startup.

Francesca Marie Smith shared her project that combines ocular wear, such as Google Glass, with watching film and television. She hopes to give audiences the chance to select supplementary content on their wearable device.

Geoffrey Long worked on the 360-Degree Storytelling project which tells a ghost story using virtual reality to let audience experience suspense first-hand.
