A New York City real estate developer plans to destroy a mosque near Ground Zero.
The prayer space opened in 2011 to mixed reviews.
One New York resident believes the issue is not getting as much attention because it's been talked about before
There is no word yet about where the current Islamic prayer space would be relocated if the building is destroyed.
