Lakers Media Day: Steve Nash

Lakers guard Steve Nash spoke at Media Day about adapting to his role with the team this year and recovering from his nerve injury.

Lakers point guard Steve Nash opened up about his health and rehab in the offseason. Nash spoke about what he expects out of himself in what will most likely be his final season in the NBA. The 40 year old two-time league MVP said he is enjoying mentoring younger players like Jeremy Lin. Nash is unsure about the role he will play with the Lakers this season because of his health, but said he is willing to adapt to whatever the team needs. He also said he will value his remaining time in the league because he doesn't know if he will be healthy enough to see any game action.
