Adoree Jackson: "We Had a Couple Mistakes"

USC cornerback Adoree Jackson talks about the performance of the secondary, USC's lack of energy in the 3rd quarter, and having Josh Shaw back on the field.

The No. 19 USC football team (7-4, 6-3) fell to crosstown rival No. 9 UCLA 38-20 Saturday night at the Rose Bowl, making it three straight years the Bruins have gotten the best of the Trojans. After the game, true freshman utility player Adoree Jackson discussed that execution was the Trojans major issue on defense, not a lack of adjusting.

Jackson says that he would give each of his teammates an average grade on their performance in Saturday's game, and says that third downs and missed tackles were major problems for USC. The freshman also spoke about having redshirt senior cornerback Josh Shaw back in the lineup.

Jackson and the rest of the Trojans will be in action vs the Fighting Irish Saturday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with gametime set for 12:30 p.m.
