Movember Spreads to USC Campus
Movember has officially arrived. Men across the United States get the chance to skip pressing the razor to their faces and go au naturale.

Movember is an annual campaign during the month of November that encourages the growth of facial hair to raise awareness for prostate cancer and other men's health issues.

“Second to breast cancer awareness and pink ribbon, growing out facial hair is the best way to say something about a cause. Growing out facial hair promotes awareness and making sure that people realize the serious issue of prostate cancer,” USC undergrad Giovanni Moujaes said.

The Movember Foundati on was founded in 2004 by Adam Garone who is a former prostate cancer survivor, according to the foundation website.
The Movember organization has raised $47 million to fund prostate cancer research worldwide. The movement first became popular in 2007, according to a recent ABC News article.
