City of Los Angeles Introduces A New Website

The Getty Institute and the City of Los Angeles have partnered to launch historicplacesla.org, the first online information and management system that maps the city's historic and cultural sites.
HistoricPlacesLA highlights diverse buildings, districts, parks, and streetscapes, as well as places of social importance. Some of the current featured searches include Modernism in LA, the entertainment industry, and pre-1900 Los Angeles.
