Adoree' Jackson: "It's all Instincts"

Sophomore Adoree' Jackson explains his ability to extend plays while running with the ball.

The No. 19 USC football team (3-1, 1-1) traveled to Tempe, Arizona and knocked off Arizona State (2-2, 0-1) in the first road game of the season for the Trojans Saturday night, 42-14. In the win, sophomore Adoree’ Jackson played all three sides of the ball, tallying a game-high 131 receiving yards and one touchdown on offense, two tackles from the cornerback position and a 45-yd punt return on special teams.

After the game, Jackson talked about his ability to make big plays without even thinking about it, citing instincts as the key to being explosive. When questioned about being a potential Heisman Trophy watch list-type player, he humbly said that his performance against ASU was just one game to showcase his talents.

The Trojans will be back in action after a bye week to take on the University of Washington Huskies at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum October 8.
