Cho Remembered at Candlelight Vigil

A candlelight vigil was held Monday night to remember USC Junior Dennis Cho, who died last week.
Cho's familly posted the funeral plans on his facebook page. The funeral will be held the United University University Church at USC at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. A viewing and prayer service will be held beforehand at 3:15 p.m.
Cho died at 8:34 P.M. on Nov. 15 at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center of an undisclosed cause, according to USC's chapter of the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He was 21 years old. Cho was an active member on campus and in Lambda Chi.
His family posted a note to his friends on Facebook, writing, "We wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for every single comment on this wall. It means a lot to us and I am confident that it means the world to my little brother."
Lambda Chi released a statement to the Greek Community Friday night saying, "We would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. Dennis was a loyal friend who was intensively involved at USC and in the Greek community. He will be missed dearly."
Several students posted on his Facebook page over the holiday weekend, mourning his death. Posts mentioned his passion for helping others and positive outlook on life.
Cho was a facilitator of Greek Chat, an initiative to bridge the gap between the LGBT and Greek communities. Vincent Vigil, the director of USC's LGBT Resource Center, could not be reached for comment, but on Tuesday he posted on the Center's Facebook page, “Today the USC community lost an amazing student leader who's efforts to build bridges between fraternity-sorority organizations and the LGBT community will never be forgotten.”
