Students Get a Look at Media Center at Open House

Cookies and tours greeted excited students at the Open House.

New students and veterans of USC Annenberg's media outlets showed up at the Media Center Open House to get a look at the brand new facility Thursday afternoon.

Students who showed up went on a tour of the Media Center, the studios and the control room.

Enthusiastic students from different majors, including students form the new one-year M.S. program showed up to express interest in joining ATVN, Annenberg Radio News, Neon Tommy or a combination of the three.

"It was exciting to see so many new students and such excitement from all disciplines," said Faith Miller, one of the executive producers of ATVN. "This new Media Center has already made all of our news outlets more accessible, and I think it will take our content to the next level."

Students who attended the Open House are invited to ATVN's Sign-Up Day where they will be able to sign up for positions and any workshop they might need to complete. Sign-Up Day is Wednesday, Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
