Women of Troy Prepare for Battle vs. No. 1 Bruins

The USC women's soccer team (12-5-2, 6-4) pulled off a 90th minute 1-0 victory over No. 22 Washington State Sunday in Pullman, Washington. Junior forward Katie Johnson played hero in the Women of Troy's upset PAC-12 win, fighting through defenders and smashing the ball past the keeper for the game's lone score.
The Women of Troy will play their regular season finale Friday under the lights in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum against the No. 1 UCLA Bruins. Members of the Cardinal and Gold spoke about the unique opportunity for a night game in such a special arena, and going up against a goliath in UCLA. The game is set to kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
