USC vs. Arizona Postgame Press Conference
The USC football team pulled away in the fourth quarter to defeat the University of Arizona Wildcats, 38-30, on Saturday night at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The Trojans relied heavily on young playmakers, such as true freshman running back Ronald Jones II, who set the USC record for most single-game rushing yards by a freshman, finishing with 177 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Quarterback Cody Kessler threw for 2 touchdowns and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster had 8 catches for 138 yards, just five days after he underwent surgery for a broken right hand. The Trojans totaled 472 offensive yards as they rallied together to improve to 3-1 under coach Clay Helton. On the defensive end the Men of Troy held the Wildcats to 412 yards and yielded 6 sacks and 1 interception.
Interim head coach Clay Helton was joined by Ronald Jones II, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Antwaun Woods to discuss the Trojans come-back win against the Wildcats.
