LA County Employees Kick-Off Cesar Chavez Service Week
Los Angeles County employees took the day off for a good cause. Many of them spent the day at various non-profit organizations as part of LA County's annual Cesar Chavez Community Service Week.
Volunteers worked at the LA Regional Food Bank and lend a helping hand feeding citizens throughout the community.
The employees organized and packaged food that will be distributed to more than 600 agencies around LA.
LA County workers will also assemble care packages for troops and veterans for Operation Gratitude tomorrow at the National Guard Armory in Van Nuys.
