Women's Soccer Defeats The Bruins For The First Time On The Road
The No. 14 USC Women's soccer team made history this weekend when they defeated crosstown rival, UCLA 2-0; their first ever win in Westwood at Drake Stadium. The Women of Troy were led by junior midfielder, Morgan Andrews, who scored both goals for the Trojans in the second half. Andrews spoke postgame about her heroic efforts in the game and the feeling of winning for the first time at UCLA.
With the win the Trojans will be eligible for the NCAA Tournament, opening at home against Cal State Fullerton on Friday at 4 p.m.
